Below are details about optometry continuing education and license renewal in Arkansas.

Arkansas Optometry Continuing Education Requirements: 20 hours are required every year by January 31. Of the 20 required hours, 10 hours must be in general and ocular therapy and pharmacology.

Arkansas accepts 8 hours in COPE-approved online continuing education courses. Licensees must submit proof of completion with their renewal application. 

Access Optometry is accredited by COPE to provide continuing education for optometrists. These courses are accepted for optometry license renewal by the Arkansas State Board of Optometry.
