Below are details about optometry continuing education and license renewal in Georgia.

Georgia Optometry Continuing Education Requirements: 36 hours are required every two years, due by December 31 of odd-numbered years. A minimum of 18 hours must be in pharmacology and pathology related to ophthalmologic conditions. A maximum of 10 hours can be in Practice Management and 8 hours in grand rounds.

Georgia accepts 10 hours in approved online continuing education courses. Licensees must submit their CE coursework to the ARBO OE TRACKER system. 

Access Optometry is accredited by COPE to provide continuing education for optometrists. These courses are accepted for optometry license renewal by the Georgia State Board of Examiners in Optometry. We report your completions to COPE OE Tracker within 7 days.
