Below are details about optometry continuing education and license renewal in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

U.S. Virgin Islands Optometry Continuing Education Requirements: 30 hours are required every two years, due at license end date. Optometrists without therapeutic certification must complete 15 hours during the same period. 

Virgin Islands accepts all 30 hours in approved online continuing education courses. Licensee must attest completion on state board forms and are subject to audit. 

Access Optometry is accredited by COPE to provide continuing education for optometrists. These courses are accepted for optometry license renewal by the Virgin Islands Board of Optometric Examiners.
