Nevada Optometry Continuing Education Requirements: Non-TPA Optometrists must complete at least 40 hours every two years, due by February 28. Optometrists certified to administer and prescribe pharmaceutical agents must complete 50 hours, with at least 30 hours related to pharmaceutical agents or disease. A maximum of 5 hours may be in practice management. 

Nevada accepts all 50 hours in approved online continuing education courses. Licensees must submit evidence of completion on the renewal form and are subject to audit.
