Ontario Optometry Continuing Education Requirements: 70 hours are required during each three-year Quality Assurance cycle, due by December 31. Of the 70 hours, at least 50 hours must be COPE-accredited, and at least 20 of those COPE-accredited hours must be in ocular disease, systemic disease, or advanced clinical topics.

Ontario accepts all 70 hours in approved online continuing education courses. Licensees must submit their CE credits through OE tracker and are subject to audit.
