Idaho Optometry Continuing Education Requirements: 18 hours are required every year, due by December 31. Optometrists licensed to use therapeutic pharmaceutical agents (TPA) must complete an additional 6 hours per year, for a total of 18 hours, and these additional hours must be in ocular pharmacology and/or advanced ocular disease.

Idaho accepts 9 hours in approved online continuing education courses. Licensees must maintain documentation of completed CE and are subject to audit.

Access Optometry is accredited by COPE to provide continuing education for optometrists. These courses are accepted for optometry license renewal by the Idaho Board of Optometry.
