New Hampshire Optometry Continuing Education Requirements: Optometrists certified to use therapeutic pharmaceutical agents must complete 50 hours of approved continuing education each year, due by December 31, with at least 20 hours in Class I education. Non-TPA certified licensed optometrists must complete 15 hours per year in Class I education. Optometrists with glaucoma certification must complete 10 of the required hours in glaucoma-specific education. Optometrists holding a DEA registration must also complete 3 hours in pain management or substance use disorder education.

New Hampshire allows all CE hours to be completed through COPE-approved online continuing education, which qualifies as Class I Formal CE. Licensees must attest on state board renewal forms and are subject to audit.

Access Optometry is accredited by COPE to provide continuing education for optometrists. These courses are accepted for optometry license renewal by the New Hampshire Board of Registration in Optometry.
