Below are details about optometry continuing education and license renewal in Oklahoma.

Oklahoma Optometry Continuing Education Requirements: 25 hours are required annually, due by June 30th. Up to 6 hours may be in practice management and a minimum of 1 hour must be in judicious prescribing of dangerous drugs and controlled dangerous substances provided by the Oklahoma Association of Optometric Physicians or Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry.

Oklahoma accepts 6 hours in approved online continuing education courses. Licensee must attest completion on state board forms and are subject to audit. 

Access Optometry is accredited by COPE to provide continuing education for optometrists. These courses are accepted for optometry license renewal by the Oklahoma Board of Examiners in Optometry.
